What is stretched funding?
Stretched funding allows 2 year olds 15 hours and 3-4 year olds 15 or 30 hours per week to be spread across the term. The funding we are provided per child is only for so many weeks each term, therefore this may mean 1-2 weeks per term are unpaid for. As a setting, if a child has hours left over per week, we will stretch these hours over the unpaid weeks so no additional cost is incurred for the parents.
